We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Trader to join our Global Trading Unit (GTU) in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing trades in fixed income markets, providing best execution to our portfolio managers, and delivering differentiated market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with portfolio managers to execute trades in cash, credit, bonds, EM, FX, swaps, futures, and options.
- Harvest and deliver market intelligence on specific markets and macro themes to portfolio managers and senior management.
- Collaborate with the Applied Research Unit (ARU) and Technology Group (TG) to gain insights from trading data and improve trading technology.
- Build and maintain relationships with counterparties and liquidity providers using strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- 4-8 years of trading experience with a preference for macro products.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written form.
- Enjoy problem-solving and have strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and filter information overflow at all times.
- Affinity to take intra-day and inter-day market timing risks to deliver strong execution outcomes.
- Ability to program in Python and passion for gaining insights from data.
