Senior Programmatic Trader Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Programmatic Trader to join our award-winning trading team. As a Senior Programmatic Trader, you will be responsible for driving performance against client goals and KPIs, devising strategy, and partnering with AdTech vendors to troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day campaign issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a patch of agencies and clients, driving performance against client goals and KPIs
  • Develop and implement optimal bidding strategies and make relevant optimisations
  • Partner with AdTech vendors to troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day campaign issues
  • 75% of campaigns will be DSP trading, and 25% will be setting up PMPs
Requirements:
  • Demand trading experience on DSPs (Xandr, DV360, Beeswax is ideal)
  • Ability to setup and oversee campaigns across multiple channels
  • Excel skills to manage reporting using a variety of pivot, lookup, and custom formulas
  • A natural communicator; able to liaise effectively with agency side as well as Ad Ops teams
Desirable:
  • Some supply trading experience on SSPs, creating PMPs (Xandr Invest, OpenX is ideal)
  • Working knowledge of SQL (or an appetite to learn)
  • Some experience of and a willingness to coach junior traders
