Wright Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor to join our team. As an Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our aircraft maintenance operations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising mechanical maintenance resources to enhance plant reliability while meeting safety, health, environmental, and financial goals. This will involve overseeing and managing the mechanical maintenance plan, collaborating with the Planning Department to ensure the availability of necessary parts, labor, and equipment, and reviewing inspection results to ensure appropriate actions are taken to meet reliability targets.

As an Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor, you will also be responsible for coordinating the deployment of labor, parts, and equipment resources, managing the mechanical team by focusing on productivity, motivation, and discipline, and monitoring the performance of staff and contractors to ensure tasks are executed as planned.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience as a Mechanical Coordinator/Maintenance Team Leader or Deputy/Graduate Engineer in a similar industry. You will also need to hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification, such as an apprenticeship or NVQ.

What We Offer
