Essential Employment is seeking a highly skilled Asset and Commercial Manager to join our team in London.
Job Summary:We are looking for a commercial asset manager to assist with the strategic management of our client's commercial property portfolio. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing part of a diverse commercial property portfolio, undertaking a range of associated professional work, including inspections, valuations, lettings, rent reviews, lease renewals, options appraisals, and dispute management.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with the strategic management of the client's commercial property portfolio.
- Take full responsibility for managing part of a diverse commercial property portfolio.
- Undertake a range of associated professional work, including inspections, valuations, lettings, rent reviews, lease renewals, options appraisals, and dispute management.
- Review and monitor property accounts to maximize rental income, taking corrective action in respect of voids/debtors as necessary.
- Report, manage, and ensure compliance with relevant rules and regulations.
- Ensure the client's Health & Safety and Statutory Compliance policies are followed for all commercial properties.
- Contribute to the development and support delivery of the client's Sustainability and Energy Strategy across the Council's commercial assets.
- Provide sound professional advice via both verbal updates and formal written reports to property colleagues and directors, other corporate departments, the Cabinet, and the elected Mayor.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial property management, with experience in managing diverse commercial property portfolios. They will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
