About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Controller to join our expanding Service and Compliance Team at M Group Services. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity to work with a leading provider of infrastructure services in the UK and Ireland.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring that planned maintenance events are managed in accordance with current Service Level Agreements. You will work closely with our customers to deliver a "best-in-class" customer experience, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the scheduling of statutory inspections, examinations, calibrations, and service events for all plant and vehicles.
  • Ensure that "best-cost solutions" are adopted for the provision of all maintenance events.
  • Contact customers to arrange and book compliance and service events, including MOTs.
  • Process defect reports following a scheduled event and arrange remedial repairs as required.
  • Process recharges in accordance with SLAs.
  • Book external repairers and raise/ process POs for nominated contracts.
  • Support the breakdown team during busy periods.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role within the plant and fleet sector.
  • Strong commitment to delivering high standards of customer service.
  • Able to prioritize workload and work to deadlines.
  • Able to use a number of internal systems, with good IT skills and experience of Microsoft Office.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fleet maintenance-related software would be an advantage, but training will be provided.
