About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. As a Clinical Pharmacist in our Major Trauma Centre, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient-focused clinical pharmacy services to patients within the Major Trauma and Trauma & Orthopaedic service lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical pharmacy services to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist clinical pharmacy advice and support.
  • Lead and manage the clinical pharmacy team, ensuring that all members are trained and competent for their roles.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals, including medical students.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Postgraduate Clinical Pharmacy Certificate.
  • Non-medical prescriber qualification or willingness to undertake this when requested.
