Job Title: Clinical Lecturer in Pediatric Nursing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced clinical lecturer to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. As a clinical lecturer, you will play a key role in supporting the development of our nursing staff, providing guidance and expertise to help them achieve their academic goals.

The successful candidate will have recent clinical practice experience in paediatric critical care, with a strong background in education and mentoring. You will be responsible for developing and delivering educational programs, providing one-to-one support to students, and contributing to the overall quality of our educational services.

We offer a competitive salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.

Main Duties:

  • Develop and deliver educational programs for nursing staff
  • Provide one-to-one support to students
  • Contribute to the overall quality of our educational services
  • Mentor and support nursing staff in their academic development

Essential Criteria:

  • Recent clinical practice experience in paediatric critical care
  • Strong background in education and mentoring
  • RSCN / RN (NMC Registered)
  • Recognised Intensive Care Course
  • Relevant Higher Degree (Masters/Post Grad Diploma)

Desirable Criteria:

  • Nurse Teacher Qualification
  • Publishing papers and presenting at conferences
