Job Title: Cardiology Nurse Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have strong post-registration experience and a commitment to delivering high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide holistic care for acute Cardiology patients
  • Utilize a coordinated multi-disciplinary approach to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Initiate early intervention as appropriate
  • Monitor and manage patients with central telemetry

Person Specification:

Education & Qualification:
  • Registered Nurse (Level 1)
  • ENB 998 or equivalent
  • First Line Management Course
  • Evidence of further continued professional development

Skills, Abilities & Knowledge:
  • Ability to work within a team and independently
  • Competency in IV drug administration and infusion pump skills
  • Knowledge of up to date nursing and NHS issues

Experience:
  • Experience as a Band 6/5 grade preferably in cardiology
  • Previous experience as shift/team leader
  • Experience of teaching, HCA's, Students and qualified staff
