Cardiology Nurse Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have strong post-registration experience and a commitment to delivering high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide holistic care for acute Cardiology patients
- Utilize a coordinated multi-disciplinary approach to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Initiate early intervention as appropriate
- Monitor and manage patients with central telemetry
Person Specification:
Education & Qualification:
- Registered Nurse (Level 1)
- ENB 998 or equivalent
- First Line Management Course
- Evidence of further continued professional development
Skills, Abilities & Knowledge:
- Ability to work within a team and independently
- Competency in IV drug administration and infusion pump skills
- Knowledge of up to date nursing and NHS issues
Experience:
- Experience as a Band 6/5 grade preferably in cardiology
- Previous experience as shift/team leader
- Experience of teaching, HCA's, Students and qualified staff
