Mental Health Recovery Advocate

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Recovery Advocate to join our team at our residential service in Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals with recovery from drug or alcohol misuse through one-to-one counselling and group work.
Key Responsibilities- To provide strength-based assessments, create care plans, and promote visible recovery.
- To supervise academic placements, ensuring trainees acquire necessary skills and competencies.
- To contribute to the smooth running of the therapeutic community.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in the substance misuse field and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They should be able to work effectively in a women's-only residential service, specialising in providing safe therapeutic environments.
Benefits- A competitive starting salary of £26,750, with potential yearly increments subject to appraisal, reaching up to £30,750.
