Tax Manager Advisory Position

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager Advisory to join our client's team in Crawley. As a Tax Manager Advisory, you will be responsible for providing tax advisory services to a prestigious client base, including actors, artists, sports professionals, bloggers, vloggers, and YouTubers.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise and correspond with HMRC in respect of clearance applications, enquiries, and other matters.
- Draft reports and letters of advice on various tax advisory issues.
- Prepare calculations to support tax advice.
- Liaise with clients and attend meetings with other team members.
- Train and review the work of more junior members of staff.
- Provide support to Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory Group.
- Advice and implementation of corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs, such as EIS/SEIS, staff incentive schemes.
- Advising owner-managed businesses on remuneration planning and succession planning.
- Preparation of research and development claims, VAT returns, and SDLT returns.
- Advising individuals on IHT planning and CGT mitigation.
- Reviewing corporate tax computations and returns.
- CTA qualified or AAT or ACA/ACCA qualified and keen to study towards CTA.
- Experience with corporate taxes is essential, and experience in other areas of tax is beneficial.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good IT skills.
- Excellent teamwork and organisational skills, including monitoring timetables and budgets.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- A keen interest in learning and developing tax knowledge.
- Mix of home and office-based work.
