About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Lawyer to join our team at The PM Law Group. As a Property Lawyer, you will be responsible for handling a caseload of sale and purchase matters, ensuring that you meet individual targets and business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of sale and purchase matters, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction progression.
  • Conduct thorough searches and due diligence on properties to identify potential issues.
  • Prepare and review contracts, deeds, and other legal documents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless transaction progression.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in conveyancing law and practice.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a conveyancing fee earner role.
  • Confidence in dealing with leasehold, new build, and shared ownership sale and purchases.
  • Strong technical ability in conveyancing transactions, including comprehensive knowledge of anti-money laundering legislation, CQS requirements, and SRA compliance obligations.
  • Experience with Case Management Systems, Land Registry Portal, Online SDLT, and updating panel websites.
