Axiom Software Solutions Limited is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Desktop Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing desktop environments with a focus on Windows 10/11 systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Desktop Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, diagnose, update, and manage desktop environments with a focus on Windows 10/11 systems.
- Windows Active Directory (AD) Administration: Administer and maintain Active Directory environments, including user and group management, GPO creation, and troubleshooting.
- Windows Hello for Business Implementation: Design and implement Windows Hello for Business, including the configuration of biometrics, PINs, and multifactor authentication (MFA).
- Secure Network Connectivity: Deploy, configure, and manage Cisco AnyConnect VPN solutions to ensure secure remote access for end-users.
- TPM Certificate Management: Manage the deployment and renewal of TPM (Trusted Platform Module) certificates managed by Windows Hello for Business across the desktop environment.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure all desktop systems comply with corporate security policies and industry best practices.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for desktop-related issues, escalating to other teams as necessary.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures, and generate reports on desktop performance, security, compliance, and incident response activities.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in desktop engineering with a focus on enterprise environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows 10/11 administration and troubleshooting, strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including VPNs and network security, experience with endpoint management tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune), and familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell).
- Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), are a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
