About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Associate Director to join our team at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our organization and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to our clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement effective policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
  • Collaborate with our medical and nursing teams to identify and address clinical governance and quality improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals to ensure the effective delivery of clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree and postgraduate qualification in a healthcare-related field.
  • Significant experience in clinical leadership and management, preferably at Band 8c or above.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care and improving clinical outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel to all sites within the organization.
