The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly or soon to be Qualified Accountant looking to develop their career in a supportive but challenging environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Practice, in an Accounts or Audit capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing statutory financial statements for clients, including consolidated financial statements, in accordance with both UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Working with other teams on the delivery of statutory financial statements and advisory work
  • Playing a key role in accounting advisory projects on the application and interpretation of accounting standards
  • Managing your schedule to ensure deadlines and budgets are met and work is completed to a high standard
  • Delegating work to Assistants and offering support as required
  • Coaching and developing Assistants, offering feedback as necessary
  • Liaising with clients and building effective relationships

Requirements

  • An inquisitive and curious mind
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • A desire to achieve high levels of client service
  • An interest in Financial Reporting and developments within financial reporting
  • A motivation to develop your own technical knowledge
  • An Accountancy qualification, ICAS/ACCA or equivalent. Finalists will be considered.
