About the Role

BDS are currently recruiting for a friendly and cheerful caretaker/groundsperson to join our team at a sheltered housing retirement service in Tunbridge Wells.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the first point of contact for residents and visitors to the service
  • Making contact with the residents daily and checking their welfare
  • Reporting any faults or repairs
  • Signposting information of local services
  • Grounds maintenance, grass cutting, bush trimming, pruning, and DIY tasks
  • Building familiarity with the residents
  • Admin tasks, including keeping accurate records and managing spreadsheets
Working Hours and Pay

Working hours are Monday and one other morning during the week, 9am-1pm. The hourly rate is £12.50 per hour PAYE.

What We Offer

This is a temporary ongoing position with the opportunity to become a permanent position for the right person.
