About the Role

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a high-profile rail infrastructure project in Hertfordshire. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of the project, including cost control, forecasting, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the commercial aspects of rail infrastructure projects, including cost control, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Prepare and review contract documentation, valuations, and financial reports.
  • Liaise with contractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Conduct risk analysis and ensure that all cost-related issues are handled efficiently.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the rail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and other construction contracts.
  • Excellent financial and commercial acumen with the ability to manage complex projects.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
