We have an exciting opportunity for a Safety and Service Champion at Places Leisure, where you'll work in a fun, lively environment with like-minded people. You'll help inspire others to work together and deliver their best.

A National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is essential.

There are many opportunities available for you within Places Leisure. Starting your career with us as a Safety and Service Champion is a great first step to different routes, including operational management, sales, fitness, or customer service.

In this role, we'll offer ongoing training, competency assessments, and opportunities for first aid at work training, swimming teacher qualifications, and various apprenticeship routes.

More about you

  • You hold an NPLQ qualification
  • You'll be responsible for supervising customers and other lifeguards using our swimming and pool facilities
  • You'll always act safely while holding responsibility for the Health and Safety of all pool users and oversee the operations of the building
  • You'll have excellent attention to detail, ensuring the safety of our customers while they enjoy our facilities
  • You'll have a passion for delivering first-class customer service and deal with customers in a friendly and professional manner while going above and beyond to deliver the highest standards
  • You'll have an eye for first-class cleanliness and put this into action whenever required
