AWS Technical Consultant/TAM - (MEC Team), ES - APJC - ANZ

As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Amazon Web Services, you will be a member of the Enterprise Support team, leading the success of enterprise customers in building applications and services on the AWS platform.

As a Cloud Technical Advisor, you will work with customers to define a support strategy, deliver expert advice on AWS services, and provide recommendations on cloud adoption and operational issues.

You will engage with customers at the account level, providing proactive advice and recommendations throughout the cloud adoption life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Act as a single point of contact to Enterprise Accounts
  2. Understand customer outcomes and business goals
  3. Make AWS service improvement recommendations that fit with customer strategy and architecture
  4. Evaluate, analyze, and present periodic reviews of operational performance to customers
  5. Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, and prelaunch planning
  6. Champion and advocate for customer requirements within AWS
  7. Participate in customer meetings and provide knowledge and innovation
  8. Work with AWS engineers to resolve customer issues
  9. Plan and execute successful business-critical events on AWS

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Experience in at least two of the following technical domains: Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, DevOps, Big Data and Analytics, Security, Applications Development.
  2. Internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience with the ability to clearly articulate and present to small and large audiences.
  3. 5+ years of experience in similar roles such as a Senior Technical Consultant, Solutions Architect, IT Manager/Engineer or other similar technical roles.
  4. Computer Science or Math background.
  5. Working knowledge of software development practices and technologies.
  6. Experience working with AWS technologies.
  7. Solid understanding of technology budget management.
