About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at Larpool Country House, providing a retreat for guests on guided or self-guided walking tour holidays.

As a key member of our culinary team, you will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in preparing and serving traditional British cuisine, including breakfast, packed lunches, and a 3-course evening meal. Your role will be to maintain the highest standards of cooking and presentation, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in menu planning and food preparation
  • Maintain high standards of cooking, presentation, and hygiene
  • Work effectively as part of a team to deliver exceptional service
  • Contribute to the development of new menus and culinary ideas
Requirements

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Chef who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working in a busy kitchen environment
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations, including food safety and hygiene
  • NVQ 3 in professional cooking, or willingness to work towards one
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
