Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated. As a Shift Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building's electrical systems, including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, and Help Desk Calls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Maintenance
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the electrical systems are functioning properly.
    • Identify and report any issues or defects in the electrical systems.
  • Reactive Maintenance
    • Respond to emergency situations and perform repairs as needed.
    • Work with the team to resolve technical issues and provide solutions.
  • Help Desk Calls
    • Provide technical support to building occupants and respond to their queries.
    • Escalate complex issues to the relevant teams for further assistance.
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and manage a team of maintenance staff, including sub-contractors and specialist providers.
    • Provide guidance and training to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Quality and Safety
    • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with JLL's QA and HSE policies and procedures.
    • Maintain accurate and legible records of all maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognised equivalent.
    • 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I.E.E) Registration or recognised equivalent.
  • Experience
    • At least 2 years of experience in a critical maintenance environment.
    • Experience in a supervisory role is desirable.
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Good working knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and critical assets and systems.
    • Ability to interpret technical information and work with the team to provide solutions to technical issues.
