Job Summary

Gleeson Development Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to support the Regional Technical team and operating team in achieving the company's commercial objectives, budgets, and future growth requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical design and civil engineering, with excellent knowledge of engineering requirements and legal frameworks associated with technical standards and requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to the land/development team, identifying the need for external consultants, managing relationships with consultants, and ensuring the flow of information is within agreed timescales. They will also be responsible for assisting in the process of tendering for, setting-up and establishing on-site management companies, and interacting with internal departments, consultants, suppliers, and sub-contractors as necessary.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification or strong experience in technical design and/or civil engineering, with knowledge of engineering requirements of the house building industry and the legal framework associated with technical standards and requirements. They will also have good technical and legal knowledge, financial/commercial awareness, good organizational skills, and flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
