Job Overview

We are seeking an Electronics Engineer - Intern to support the Hardware team with design, building, programming and testing of internal rigs used for development.

About the Role

As an intern in this role, you will collaborate with the team to build prototypes, procure PCBs and components, troubleshoot and re-work faulty parts of current products. You will also be responsible for building cables and harnesses required for prototypes or devices, as well as writing documentation to explain building or assembly steps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Hardware team with design, building, programming and testing of internal rigs used for development
  • Collaborate with the team to build prototypes, procure PCBs and components
  • Troubleshoot and re-work faulty parts of current products
  • Build cables and harnesses required for prototypes or devices
  • Write documentation to explain building or assembly steps
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a passion for animals, climate technology, and the environment. This is a 6-month internship opportunity for 2025.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is £35,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
