Electronic Warfare Systems Engineer

Due to the nature of the role and the industry, you will be required to achieve UK SC clearance

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Warfare Systems Engineer to work with various systems, including Defensive Aids Computer, Electronic Surveillance Measures, Electronic Counter Measures, and Missile Approach Warner.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with suppliers to understand programme status and key issues, maintaining regular telecoms and meetings as necessary.
  2. Engage with suppliers to establish future equipment requirements and ensure product obsolescence is managed throughout the engineering lifecycle.
  3. Support the Final Assembly Line and Flight Development Line to ensure DASS equipment is available to meet programme requirements.
  4. Identify opportunities to improve ground equipment, training, and technical publications used to operate and maintain equipment on the Final Assembly Line and In-Service.
  5. Maintain equipment programme plans, status information, and issue slides to keep them up-to-date with the latest information.
  6. Support the supplier bid process through collaboration with the DASS procurement team.

Requirements:

  1. Demonstrable experience of software and hardware development.
  2. An understanding and knowledge of the engineering lifecycle.
  3. A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent with relevant experience gained on an aircraft engineering project or related field.
  4. The ability to develop and present complex data to various stakeholders.
  5. The ability to manage tasks across multiple contracts, balancing priorities and workload across a team.
