Job Title: Senior Town Planner (Permanent)

Advance Training & Recruitment Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Town Planner to join our team on a permanent basis.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Town Planner to support our planning lead in delivering S.37/TCPA projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery of planning aspects, coordinating internal design, technical, survey, and planning teams, and supporting project progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the planning lead in delivering S.37/TCPA projects
  • Ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of planning aspects
  • Coordinate internal design, technical, survey, and planning teams
  • Support project progress and ensure successful project delivery
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject such as Geography, Planning, Environmental Sciences, or similar
  • At least 2 years' post-graduate experience in the infrastructure/development sector, working on relevant transmission, distribution, or other planning schemes
  • A minimum of 2 years' post-graduate experience using GIS software
  • A UK driving licence, as the role requires attendance at client meetings
Desirable Skills:

Experience with electricity projects, including NSIPs, S.37, or TCPA projects, is desirable.
