Job Title: Claims Broker/Technician US and Canada

Our client, a leading Lloyds Broker, is seeking a Claims Broker/Team Leader to join their expanding US and Canadian Property Binding Authority Claims department in the London office.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Handling Claims Broking as well as Team Leader responsibilities
  • Review and assess claims to ensure accurate and timely processing
  • Anticipate potential issues and decide on a course of action to achieve desired outcomes
  • Process and monitor claims, dealing with accounting issues and client inquiries
  • Produce Management Information to support business development
  • Broker claims files into the market and process bordereaux files
  • Liaise with clients, loss adjusters, TPAs, and attorneys to handle claims and develop relationships
  • Deal with issues related to claims or accounts, maintaining required records and reports
  • Monitor claim outstanding and movements to impact performance and business development
  • Ensure prompt receipt of claim settlements, payments to clients, and reconciliation of funds and accounts
  • Provide specialist advice and guidance, sharing knowledge and expertise
  • Act as Team Leader to manage and train a team of staff
Essential Skills:
  • Previous experience in a similar Claims Broking role
  • Experience dealing with Property claims
Desirable:
  • US and/or Canadian claims experience
What You Need to Know:
  • Permanent role
  • Based in London
  • Salary £30,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
