Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day upkeep of production equipment and machinery.
  • Site-wide preventative maintenance.
  • Reacting to breakdowns quickly to reduce downtime.
  • Equipment repair, technical repairing, and factory start-up testing.
  • Accurate and timely completion of necessary documentation.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Recognised qualification in an engineering discipline or a recognised apprenticeship in engineering.
  • Experience of repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment in a controlled environment.
  • Broad knowledge of both mechanical and electrical engineering.
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment (ideal but not essential).
  • Strong diagnostic fault-finding capability.
  • Awareness and understanding of statutory requirements and legislation.
  • A proactive health and safety mindset with excellent attention to detail.
