Job DescriptionMain Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day upkeep of production equipment and machinery.
- Site-wide preventative maintenance.
- Reacting to breakdowns quickly to reduce downtime.
- Equipment repair, technical repairing, and factory start-up testing.
- Accurate and timely completion of necessary documentation.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Recognised qualification in an engineering discipline or a recognised apprenticeship in engineering.
- Experience of repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment in a controlled environment.
- Broad knowledge of both mechanical and electrical engineering.
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment (ideal but not essential).
- Strong diagnostic fault-finding capability.
- Awareness and understanding of statutory requirements and legislation.
- A proactive health and safety mindset with excellent attention to detail.
