Regional Rail Tendering Specialist

We are seeking a Regional Rail Tendering Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and submitting tenders, estimating and pricing, and obtaining subcontract quotes.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-Tender:
- Profiling of new enquiries
- Responding to Expressions of Interest
- Responding to Prequalifications
- Estimating / Pricing:
- Building rates from first principles
- Building Preliminaries
- Calculation of Overheads
- Obtaining Subcontract Quotes:
- Identifying potential subcontractor Suppliers with the assistance of delivery staff
- Coordinate subcontractor enquiries
- Prepare and issue subcontractor enquiries
- Bid Submissions:
- Chair intermediate progress reviews
- Resolve issues/ conflicts with Commercial Director if required
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in bid analysis and tendering
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
The salary for this role is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including
