Main Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Catering Engineer to join our team at JLB Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of commercial catering equipment in various settings.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Plan and coordinate work activities to maximize customer visits at suitable times.
  2. Develop and maintain effective communication with customers and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
  3. Accurately complete documentation and records to meet company standards.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest knowledge and understanding of commercial catering equipment principles and fault rectification techniques.
  5. Source and maintain technical information and support for catering equipment manufacturers' products.
  6. Comply with relevant regulations and standards to ensure safe and efficient service delivery.
  7. Develop and maintain expertise in fault-finding procedures to minimize downtime.
  8. Install and maintain catering equipment in accordance with manufacturers' instructions.
  9. Work safely by assessing risks and taking necessary actions to minimize them.
  10. Maintain necessary accreditations and registrations to work with gas-fired catering equipment.
  11. Ensure tools and test equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
  12. Participate in training courses as directed to enhance skills and knowledge.
  13. Manage van stock and return parts as required.
  14. Maintain company vehicles in clean and roadworthy condition.
  15. Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by the Service Manager.
  16. All purchases must be authorized by the Service Manager with a valid order number.
Requirements
  1. Proof of electrical competency.
  2. ACS accreditations including CCCN1 or CODC1, Comcats 1,2,3.
  3. Clean driving license for private/light goods.
