About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Product Architect - Lasers to work closely with the Sensors Product Line Architect, helping architect our future laser products. The role is ideal for laser professionals with specialist knowledge of solid state lasers and who already architect solid state laser products or have the ambition to do so.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop architectures for future solid state lasers and laser products.
  • Work with engineering teams and manufacturing teams on the development and qualification of laser products.
  • Provide thought leadership and influence the direction of travel of OME laser products and technology.
  • Contribute to the Technology Roadmap for the laser products, identifying key emerging or existing laser technologies.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor, Masters or Post-Doctoral Degree (BEng, BSc, MEng, MSc, EngD or PhD) in Physics or Laser Physics.
  • Significant experience of lasers / laser systems.
  • Strong experimental skills supported by a solid theoretical background.


Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £90,000 per annum, this role offers a competitive salary, plus bonus, strong pension contribute, private healthcare, development focused targets, relocation support if required, along with a variety of learning, development and career enhancement opportunities.
