About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join NFP People as the Head of Finance and Organisation Development, contributing to our strategic and operational management. As a key member of our management team, you will work closely with the Chief Executive and Trustees to drive organisational growth and success. This role offers a competitive salary of £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 33 days annual holiday entitlement pro rata, pension contribution of up to 5% of gross pay, flexible delivery of hours, remote working options, and free on-site parking.

Responsibilities and Requirements
You will be responsible for managing the charity's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You will also oversee office management, recruiting and managing staff, and providing support services. Additionally, you will serve as Company Secretary and provide advice to the Board and Management Team. Experience with financial systems, cash handling, banking, and paying invoices is essential, as well as proficiency in spreadsheets, Microsoft Office suite, and database management. To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in finance and business administration, with experience in managing finances, office management, and staff recruitment and management. You should also have excellent IT skills, including proficiency in financial systems, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office suite, and database management. Knowledge of HR and IT functions is beneficial, but training and development opportunities are available.
