Service Advisor Opportunity

Pembrook Resourcing is seeking a skilled Service Advisor to join their client's aftersales team at their dealership.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a service role and possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. They will be responsible for establishing rapport with customers, providing outstanding care, and ensuring a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish rapport with and provide outstanding care to customers
  • Identify and anticipate ways to help customers and achieve sales targets by selling technician labour and products
  • Book in customer vehicles for servicing, with the objective of maximising labour utilisation and efficiency
  • Arrange alternative transport for customers and liaise with drivers regarding pick-up and delivery of customer vehicles
  • Manage and follow up all work in progress on customer vehicles; liaise regularly with the customer and Workshop Controller (and Technicians as required) to meet pre-arranged time frames
  • Ensure customers understand service charges and what work will be or has been carried out, involving technical advisers to answer queries where necessary
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a service role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organisation and administration skills
  • Ability to use computers with confidence and prioritise work
