Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at the Centre for Information Resilience. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, and maximizing impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project leadership teams to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
  • Develop research plans, define deliverables, and establish effective project management arrangements.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to produce high-quality outputs.
  • Collaborate with open-source investigators and remote sensing experts to develop innovative technical solutions.
  • Ensure accurate measurement and recording of project activities and impact.
  • Identify and manage risk across the project.
  • Develop financial forecasts and oversee expenditures.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of delivering research, capacity building, or communications projects.
  • Substantial experience in implementing UK government-funded projects and knowledge of associated policies and regulations.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, financial management, and risk mitigation.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience in safeguarding investigators and ensuring data security.

Working Arrangements:

The role is full-time and can be office-based, hybrid, or remote, with the option to work from our London offices. We encourage flexible working and are open to discussing a suitable working pattern with the successful applicant.
