We are currently looking for a skilled clinical pharmacist to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. As a clinical pharmacist in this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and efficacy of medication for patients receiving cancer treatment. • Providing a specialist haematology and oncology clinical pharmacy service to inpatients, outpatients, and day-case patients
• Ensuring adherence to best practices in the handling and administration of cytotoxic agents
• Implementing policies and procedures related to the safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflows

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualities:

• Membership of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB)
• Degree in pharmacy
• Postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy or equivalent (desirable)
• Relevant experience in managing pharmaceutical elements of clinical trials, policy and procedure development, and previous experience in aseptic production (desirable)

Salary: £51,063 - £73,465 per annum
