About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Science Liaison Leader to join our BII Immunology team in Slough, UK. As a Field Medical Lead, you will be responsible for leading a therapeutically aligned Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Team and providing executive medical presence, leadership, coaching, and accountability to drive individual and team results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of MSLs and provide strategic direction and guidance to ensure consistency and excellence in medical science capabilities.
  • Develop and implement field medical strategic roadmaps and deliver on group and individual metrics for the team.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage MSLs in their respective country/area, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Contribute to the development of regional and global medical capability, working closely with the Medical Strategy Lead and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop country TA strategy and ecosystem plans.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, preferably with 5+ years of demonstrated Medical Affairs/leadership experience or 3+ years effectively managing a field medical team.
  • Relevant therapeutic area experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated strength in strategic medical planning, tactical plan development, and implementation.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and engagement skills, including mastery of the English language.
