Medical Care Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at Compass Group UK&I. This is a full-time opportunity, contracted to 36 hours per week.
In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of Defence sector facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for staff and visitors.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in cleaning and housekeeping, with excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to working. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and have a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.

Compass Group UK&I is the Defence, Government, and Energy services sector of Compass Group UK & Ireland. We support 250+ UK military establishments, high-profile police, secure environments, and government sites, as well as onshore and offshore facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and maintaining a wide range of areas within Defence sector facilities
- Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
- Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
- Performing additional cleaning duties as required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
- Emptying and disposing of bin waste
- Ensuring all areas are clean, presentable, and safe for visitors by following policies and procedures
- FOLLOWING HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES WHEN USING EQUIPMENT
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in cleaning and housekeeping
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work individually and as part of a team
- Flexible approach to working
