Taylor Root is currently working with a leading national law firm to recruit a Paralegal Supervisor for their Credit Hire team in Birmingham.

About the Firm

Our client is a well-established national full-service law firm with a strong heritage in insurance, health, and real estate. They operate across the UK and have a reputation for excellence in various contentious and transactional areas.

About the Team

The Credit Hire team deals with pre-litigation and litigation for over 40 insurers/self-insurers, handling close to 20,000 claims a year. This includes complex claims and ongoing protocols, such as criminal motor defence, motor fraud, injury, recoveries, and credit hire.

About the Role

You will be joining a large team as a Paralegal Supervisor, overseeing a team of 5 Paralegals with their own cases. Your responsibilities will include providing day-to-day support, personal management, financial management, and ensuring team targets are set and met. You will also have a small caseload of 20/30 cases, with a view to reducing this in the future.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 2 years of prior paralegal experience, handling a caseload of pre-litigated and litigated claims. Ideally, this experience will have been gained in credit hire or personal injury, motor fraud, or general motor liability (defendant or claimant).
