Policy and Regulatory Expertise

We are seeking a skilled Regulatory Lawyer to join our team in London, working on a 24-month fixed-term contract with a competitive salary of £70,000 - £75,000 per annum.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated project team tasked with reforming and reshaping regulatory and enforcement policies and procedures. This involves reviewing current regulations to ensure efficient decision-making for the public good, proposing changes as required, and engaging with stakeholders through consultation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Providing expert advice on various regulatory and policy matters, including identifying regulatory issues, outlining investigations, gathering evidence, and assessing risks.
  2. Playing a key role in the project team, working towards specific milestones and deadlines.
  3. Demonstrating exceptional drafting skills to develop proposals, policies, and reports throughout the project.
Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a thorough understanding of regulatory law practice and procedures, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
