Junior CDM Advisor Role

Location: Central London

Sector: Built Environment

Salary: £35,000-£40,000

Carriera have partnered with a leading construction consultancy to recruit a Junior CDM Advisor. Our client offers a range of services including project management, cost consultancy, and client-side programme and development management.

This role is ideal for a determined individual who has recently passed their NEBOSH qualification and is looking to increase their exposure and learning in a dynamic environment with highly skilled CDM/Principal designers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Identify and manage design-related risks to ensure project success.
  2. Communicate effectively with contractors, designers, and clients through Design Team Meetings and Risk Workshops.
  3. Review and monitor designers' compliance with health and safety regulations.
  4. Plan, coordinate, and manage the pre-construction phase of projects to ensure smooth execution.
  5. Provide information to contractors to manage health and safety throughout the construction phase.
  6. Conduct interim Health & Safety inspections and review site records to ensure compliance.
  7. Review Contractor's Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan to ensure it meets regulatory requirements.
  8. Work towards a professional qualification in designing, building surveying, or building services discipline.
  9. Participate in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  10. NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety is preferred but not essential.
