Criminal Solicitor Position

We are seeking a qualified Criminal Solicitor to join our expanding team in West Yorkshire. As a key member of our team, you will work alongside senior Criminal Fee Earners, handling a diverse caseload that covers the full spectrum of criminal law matters.
The Role:As a Criminal Solicitor, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and representing cases in the Magistrates Court and Crown Court.
- Attending PACE interviews as required.
- Receiving training on conducting hearings in the Magistrates Court.
- Gaining exposure to commercial regulatory work, intellectual property, and sports law, with opportunities to manage these matters independently in the future.
Our client base includes high-profile athletes and sports organisations, offering a varied and challenging caseload.
Requirements:To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 12 months' experience in criminal law as a qualified NQ Solicitor.
- Own transport, as the role involves travel between offices, courts, and client meetings.
- Excellent client care skills, with a high level of organisation and attention to detail.
- Strong business development and IT skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
- A team-oriented approach.
