Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment is seeking a qualified NQ Solicitor to join our expanding team in West Yorkshire. As a Criminal Solicitor, you will work alongside senior fee earners, handling a diverse caseload that covers the full spectrum of criminal law matters.

As a junior solicitor with 12+ months of criminal law experience, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive and expanding environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation and representation of cases in the Magistrates Court and Crown Court.
• Occasional attendance at PACE interviews.
• Training on conducting hearings in the Magistrates Court will be provided, and you should be keen to develop experience in this area.
• The opportunity to gain exposure to commercial regulatory work, intellectual property, and sports law, with a view to managing these matters independently in the future.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A qualified NQ Solicitor with at least 12 months' experience in criminal law.
