Job Title: Head of Kitchen Operations

We are working with a well-known recruitment agency, Nicholas Jon Recruitment, to find an experienced head chef for their clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company in the hospitality industry and take on a challenging role as head of kitchen operations.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen operations and staff, creating menus, maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene, and controlling food costs and inventory.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff.
  2. Create innovative menus that showcase culinary excellence.
  3. Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
  4. Maintain accurate records of food costs and inventory levels.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a head chef or in a similar leadership role.
  2. Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
  3. Passion for culinary innovation and excellence.

Working Environment:

This is a fast-paced kitchen environment where attention to detail and ability to multitask are essential. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a busy kitchen.

Salary: £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
