Job Description

Hobson Prior is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality operations in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet high standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the quality assurance team and ensure all tasks are covered.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes and support functions for quality compliance.
  • Manage the quality management system and related documentation.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes and training materials.
  • Track and maintain quality performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to manage daily quality operations.
  • Review production documents to ensure timely product release.
  • Conduct facility inspections and support audits.
  • Perform internal audits and document findings.
  • Handle quality reports, investigations, and risk assessments.
  • Support document management and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide compliance training and guidance on quality issues.
  • Step in for the QA Team Leader when needed.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Experience in a sterile manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and knowledge of quality standards.
  • Experience with regulatory inspections and audits.
  • Leadership skills to manage a team effectively.

The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
