Associate Drainage Engineer

To continue to support their clients in developing sustainable drainage solutions to protect communities and infrastructure from flooding, they are seeking an experienced and recognised drainage leader to come in at Associate level and be based in their Leeds City Centre office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the delivery of a wide variety of civil engineering projects, such as highway, rail, infrastructure, and site development schemes.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered to a high technical standard, in a timely manner, and with commercial success.
  • Managing a team of drainage engineers, supporting their technical development, and ensuring they are resourced on projects.
  • Delivering a broad range of drainage services for significant transport and infrastructure projects in the UK.
  • Leading client relationships and attending client progress meetings.

Requirements:

  • Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with extensive and proven experience post-degree in designing sustainable drainage solutions.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of drainage design principles and solutions to manage infrastructure drainage.
  • Proficient in the use of Civil 3D and Causeway Flow software.
  • Proven knowledge of relevant technical standards, UK Building Regulations, Design Standards, Codes of Practice, and Health & Safety regulations.
