Associate Drainage Engineer

Calibre Search is proud to be working with a world leader in Design Engineering on a number of projects across the UK.
Their clients range from HS2, Network Rail, National Highways, and Local Authorities, with designs spanning strategy, concept, and feasibility to detail design and construction support.
To support their clients in developing sustainable drainage solutions to protect communities and infrastructure from flooding, they are seeking an experienced and recognised drainage leader to join their team at Associate level, based in their Leeds City Centre office.
Your role will be key in developing the team's profile and expertise, further expanding the team of over 50 Engineers.
Their national Water Engineering team are technical leaders in the sector, fostering a proactive, responsible, and collaborative work ethic.
They are committed to providing an inspirational, supportive, and inclusive workplace environment, and the successful candidate will become a key part of this team, dedicated to delivering innovative, lasting solutions to the highest profile challenges faced by their clients.
As part of the role, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of a wide variety of civil engineering projects, such as highway, rail, infrastructure, and site development schemes, and ensuring they are delivered to a high technical standard, in a timely manner, and with commercial success.
You will have a track record of delivering a broad range of drainage services for the most significant transport and infrastructure projects in the UK, leading client relationships, attending client progress meetings, and managing a team of drainage engineers, supporting their technical development and ensuring they are resourced on projects.
Their national Sustainable Water Management team are technical leaders in the sector, fostering a proactive, responsible, and collaborative work ethic.
You will become a key part of this team, dedicated to delivering innovative, lasting solutions to the highest profile challenges faced by our clients.
As a Chartered or Incorporated Engineer, you will have extensive and proven experience post-degree in designing sustainable drainage solutions and a thorough knowledge and understanding of drainage design principles and solutions to manage infrastructure drainage.
You will be proficient in the use of Civil 3D and Causeway Flow software and have a proven knowledge of relevant technical standards, UK Building Regulations, Design Standards, Codes of Practice, and Health & Safety regulations.
