About the Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring that customers receive excellent service, and leading a team of colleagues to achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the team to deliver a clean, well-stocked store that exceeds customer expectations
  • Be the first point of contact for customers, listening to their needs and resolving any issues
  • Coach and develop colleagues to improve their skills and performance
  • Monitor and maintain store standards, including visual merchandising and stock levels
  • Work closely with the management team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a positive attitude and a commitment to customer service

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure. You will also need to be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
