Cost Consultancy Graduate Programme

We are seeking a talented and ambitious graduate to join our Cost Consultancy team as part of our 2025 Graduate Programme. This two-year programme offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cost management, working closely with experienced professionals and contributing to high-profile projects.
About the RoleAs a Cost Consultancy Graduate, you will play a key role in supporting our project teams with cost management services, from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with project teams to deliver project objectives in line with the project plan
- Monitoring and engaging with relevant Health, Safety, and Wellbeing standards throughout the project lifecycle
- Assisting in the preparation and updating of project plans, ensuring they remain relevant and effective
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure robust quality systems are in place and monitored
- Attending meetings, providing contextual information, and analysis, including regular site walks
- Partnering with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks
- Assisting in tracking project changes and ensuring timely processing and formalisation
- Providing handover documentation prior to practical completion
- Understanding business priorities through Construction to Production, Digital & Data, and Responsible Business
- Supporting project and programme management team activities relating to external client appointments
- Conducting research, analysis, record-keeping, and other supporting activities to ensure timely and accurate information
- Identifying solutions to issues that require problem-solving
You will also have the opportunity to gain professional membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), fully funded and supported by us.

Given the nature of our work, flexibility is key. Our projects and clients are based in various locations, so you should be prepared to travel frequently to different project sites or Mace offices. A positive and adaptable approach to travel is therefore essential, as it may be a regular part of your role.
