Job Summary:

Optime Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Count and verify inventory levels using handheld scanners to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist with receiving and processing inbound shipments, including inspecting goods for damage or defects.
  • Pick and pack orders with precision and attention to detail, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Comply with strict security protocols and procedures to maintain the integrity of our warehouse and its contents.
  • Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned by your supervisor, including cleaning and maintaining a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Excellent work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is an asset, but not required.
