About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Rehabilitation Unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Ward Manager in providing high-quality nursing care and treatment to patients, working closely with other professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Work with individuals to help them acquire or regain skills and confidence, focusing on addressing and minimizing symptoms and functional impairment.
  • Develop therapeutic relationships with individuals and engage them in collaborative and effective partnership working to achieve agreed goals.
  • Contribute to the provision of a daily structure and range of effective clinical interventions, promoting individuality and autonomy in the least restrictive environment.
