Job Title: Apprentice Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Physiotherapist to join our team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified physiotherapist or someone looking to enhance their skills in a dynamic and supportive acute NHS setting.

The successful candidate will work as an autonomous practitioner under supervision, providing high-quality patient-focused care through assessment, diagnosis, development, and delivery of individual treatment programmes.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing assistance in the supervision, support, and education of unqualified/more junior staff and students
  • Contributing to our 7-day service on a rota basis, dependent on specialty of work/rotation
  • Completing on-call over a 24-hour period/complete weekend working as appropriate to specialty
  • Liaising with senior physiotherapy staff regarding complex cases
  • Liaising with medical, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy or soon to achieve this qualification
  • Health and Care Professions Council Registration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and on-call
