About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Test Engineer to join our team at oilandgas, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our gas products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing of gas products and appliances to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any testing gaps or issues.
- Develop and maintain testing protocols and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Provide technical expertise and support to colleagues and stakeholders on testing-related matters.
Requirements:
- BTEC/HNC (or equivalent) in a discipline related to mechanical engineering, chemistry, or physics.
- Experience in testing gas products/appliances in a lab environment or for a manufacturer.
- Awareness of BS EN standards relating to domestic boilers, cookers, and fires, and commercial catering and heating appliances.
